Is it possible to make meringue, put it in one of the glass jars with the two part lids, and can it? Would it keep at all? I know it can be done with lemon curd or marmalade and things like that, so I was thinking something like a lemon meringue pie with the layer of meringue that I could send to someone in the mail. I had considered a layer of graham cracker crumbs for a crust, but that seems questionable for the canning process already.
