How many quarts of tran mission fluid does a 1998 dodge caravan take?

This information is not in the owners manual. The refill on a pan drop is 4 quarts nominal, but it may take more if you pull the filter and let it drain a while. The capacity of the whole transmission is about 9 quarts, but this will vary slightly depending on which application and cooling package you have. Always use ATF+4 in modern Chrysler transmissions. Do NOT use Dexron or Mercon.
