What's the recipe for this and how do you make it?

so i had this dessert in a hotel and it was delicious but i felt it going to my hips"!lol it had like a mohogony colour cake thing and some meringue,beige coloured cream thing and some other stuff but i can't remember.i heard someone say it was a tiramisu but it was circular and didn't taste like a tiramisu.Thanks
